Job summary

ThyssenKrupp is hiring a Quality Assurance Representative for 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) in the Cleveland area. The role focuses on documentation, data control, calibration, and corrective actions, with QA training preferred. Local candidates only; no relocation or sponsorship offered.

The QAR will ensure quality records, perform process audits, and train on quality documents as needed, while collaborating with Plant Operations Supervisors to uphold ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal skills are required and detail oriented to the Quality Management System.
• Rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are needed.
• Exposure to a fast paced warehouse environment is expected.
• Able to work with a diversified workforce and interact with Plant Operations Supervisors.
• Quality system training is preferred but not required.
• ASQ certification is preferred.
• 3 years QA/QC experience required or desired.
• Experience with ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document and data control oversight in Plant.
• Own and maintain measurement devices and calibration.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions and follow-ups.
• Audit quality records and plant procedures.
• Implement statistical control of equipment and processes.
• Ensure timely processing of non-conforming material.
• Train on quality department documents when needed.
• Maintain records for gauges, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs.
