Position: Hardware Quality Technician

Location: Hybrid in St. Paul, MN 3-4x per week

Duration: 6 month contract to permanent, FTE hire

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting/testing the connectivity of IoT connected devices
• Experience in manually testing physical equipment
• Experience with IoT (connected devices)
• Experience following the scientific method and tracking/creating reports on results
• Effective communication skills with the ability to deliver data clearly and concisely

Day to day:

One of Insight Gobal's largest chemical cleaning solution clients is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance specialist to test physical IoT devices for a specific business unit at the client. This person will be testing devices physically to see whether the newly created IoT devices work or do not work in connecting to the service application the BU utilizes. Keeping track and documenting what works, how the devices don't connect, or any other issues with the devices will be key in the role. Someone with a scientific testing background and experience working with connected devices will be a great fit for the role. Someone who has critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and can work onsite in St. Paul Minnesota will be a great fit for the role.
