Job summary

Life-Assist, Inc. is seeking to expand its warehouse shipping and receiving team in California. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, proper inventory handling, and accurate documentation.

You will file carrier freight claims, process returns, and use RF scanning to manage inbound and outbound movements, while upholding safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has an AA in Business Administration or equivalent, at least five years of related experience, and forklift or

Qualifications

• AA in Business Administration or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Five years related experience and/or training preferred.
• California Designated Representative a plus.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Medium proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• File freight claims with carriers.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and authenticity of product.
• Record serial, lot, and expiration information.
• Document and solve discrepancies on inbound product.
• Assist in managing salable and non-salable inventory.
• Process and ship returns to vendors.
• Use RF Scanner to receive inventory and process shipments.
• Receive and process customer returns.
• Conduct random audits of outbound packages for protection.
• Operate carts and warehouse tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Profile and maintain product descriptions and storage requirements.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and procedures for accuracy.
• Maintain expiration dates and stock rotation.
• Audit inventory regularly and report to management.
• Document and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Perform tasks in the Warehouse Management System and ERP.
• Quarantine defective, recalled, or expired product.

What You Will Do

• Works with carriers to file freight claims
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and authenticity of product as necessary
• Records accurate srial, lot, and expiration information on applicable products
• Works with applicable departments to document and solve discrepancies on inbound product
• Assists in managing salable and non‑salable inventory
• Processes and ships returns to vendors
• Uses RF Scanner to receive inventory, process returns, scan products to/from shelves, and process shipments as necessary
• Receives and processes customer returns
• Conducts random audits of outbound packages with an emphasis on adequate packing to protect products during transit
• Operates carts, pallet jacks, tape guns, box openers, and other warehouse tools as necessary
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

Inventory Management

• Profiles and maintains product description and storage handling requirements
• Maintains adherence to regulatory requirements and enforces procedures to ensure accuracy
• Maintains expiration dates and ensures proper stock rotation
• Audits the inventory on a regular basis and reports to management
• Documents and resolves inventory discrepancies
• Can regularly and competently perform all necessary tasks in the Warehouse Management System and ERP
• Quarantine defective, recalled, or expired product.

Education and Experience:

• AA in Business Administration and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Five years’ related experience and/or training preferred
• California Designated Representative a plus
• Forklift Experience a plus
• Medium proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work overtime during peak volume days
