Express Employment Technologies seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist in Kirkland to uphold rigorous aerospace manufacturing standards. You will support QA initiatives, audits, corrective actions, and compliance across customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in quality inspection, experience with AS9100, and proficiency with Excel/Word. This is a full-time, daytime role with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AS9100 quality management systems and internal auditing.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; strong attention to detail.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and conduct internal product, process, system, compliance, and surveillance audits.
• Manage corrective action activities and verify effectiveness of actions.
• Review customer returns, complaints, and nonconforming product reports to identify trends.
• Prepare quality documentation, reports, and analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain QMS documentation and records.
• Perform Return to Service and Prior to Shipment inspections and ensure required quality documentation is completed.
• Administer and support quality programs including FOD, ESD, calibration, and supplier quality initiatives.
• Manage equipment calibration records and verify compliance with inspection and testing requirements.
• Perform hazard analyses and assist with safety initiatives and training compliance.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.

Are you an experienced quality professional with a background in aerospace manufacturing, auditing, compliance, and quality systems? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a growing aerospace team. This role is responsible for supporting quality assurance initiatives, administering key quality programs, conducting audits, managing corrective actions, and helping ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing one or more quality programs such as corrective action, calibration, audit, FOD, ESD, or supplier survey programs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct internal product, process, system, compliance, and surveillance audits
• Manage corrective action activities and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
• Review customer returns, complaints, and nonconforming product reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Prepare quality documentation, reports, and analysis to support continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records
• Perform Return to Service and Prior to Shipment inspections and ensure required quality documentation is completed
• Administer and support quality programs including FOD, ESD, calibration, and supplier quality initiatives
• Manage equipment calibration records and verify compliance with inspection and testing requirements
• Perform hazard analyses and assist with company safety initiatives and training compliance
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing in-process and final inspections
• Experience with one or more of the following programs:
  Corrective Action
  Calibration
  Internal Audits
  FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
  ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
  Supplier Survey/Quality Programs
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems and internal auditing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Aerospace industry experience preferred
• Experience with Infor Visual or similar ERP systems preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening and successfully complete a background screening after a conditional offer of employment, in accordance with Washington State law
• This is a safety-sensitive position

Compensation & Benefits include:
- Paid vacation – 40 hours in year 1; 80 hours in year 2 – 5
