The role collaborates with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality agreements, audit readiness, and regulatory expectations are met. Location is remote in the United States.

Qualifications

• PhD, MSc, or BSc with progressively responsible QA experience in biotech/pharma.
• 10+ years in biotech/pharma industry preferred.
• 5+ years overseeing supplier quality.
• Experience leading audits and managing quality agreements.
• Technical knowledge of quality processes and primary components.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality oversight for supplier relationships from onboarding to disengagement.
• Ensure supplier regulatory compliance with global standards and company expectations.
• Negotiate and manage quality agreements with suppliers.
• Prepare external sites for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Review and approve supplier investigations and change notifications.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks, escalating as necessary.
• Drive audit commitments to completion and monitor supplier status.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Senior Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will lead supplier quality oversight across the full supplier lifecycle, from onboarding through disengagement, with a strong focus on compliance and risk mitigation. The selected candidate will partner closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality agreements, audit readiness, and regulatory expectations are consistently met. This position plays a key role in protecting product quality and strengthening supplier performance across a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $132,037 – $178,638 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead quality oversight for supplier relationships from onboarding to disengagement.
• Ensure supplier compliance with global regulatory standards and the company's expectations.
• Negotiate and manage quality agreements with suppliers.
• Prepare external sites for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Review and approve supplier investigations and change notifications.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks, escalating as necessary.
• Drive audit commitments to completion and assess supplier status through monitoring.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of Quality experience, or Master's with 4 years, or Bachelor's with 6 years, or Associate's with 10 years, or high school diploma with 12 years of Quality experience.
• 10+ years in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• 5+ years overseeing supplier quality.
• Experience leading audits and managing quality agreements.
• Technical knowledge of primary components and quality processes.
