Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative III to support complex government and defense projects. You will perform nondestructive testing, prepare QA workbooks, and analyze inspection data to ensure compliance with ISO standards and NAVSEA items.

The role requires 3+ years of NDT experience and US citizenship, with 25–50% travel. Responsibilities include leading QA activities, providing training, and guiding less-experienced staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience in U.S. Navy shipboard/Submarine NDT inspections.
• NDT Level II certification for Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, and Magnetic Particle Testing.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items; welding knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops QA workbooks with test and inspection plans.
• Performs QA tests/inspections on products, materials, components, and parts to ensure quality.
• Records and analyzes data and writes summaries to validate deviations from standards.
• Guides and directs employees in quality improvement efforts.
