Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Assurance Inspector performs incoming, in-process and finished product inspections according to product specifications and/or product drawings. Inspection results are documented and communicated per standard operating procedures. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiar with the use and interpretation of standard operating procedures (SOP's), work instructions and product drawings.
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools that include calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Capability and flexibility to shift priorities on short notice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter inspection results into applicable computer software, tag product with its current inspection status and isolate non-conforming product.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and promote safe work practices.
• Perform reboxing and/or rework activities per specified instructions.

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) is required.
• A minimum of one year as a Quality Assurance or Quality Control Inspector.
• Experienced using computers and software such as Word and Excel. ERP systems is a plus.
