Job summary

Buffalo Valley Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance professional for a full-time role in Kentucky. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical records for documentation standards, compiling topic-based statistics, and preparing quality reports for policy and payers.

Candidates should have basic computer skills, be able to use TIER EHR, Excel, Office 365 and email. A TN license endorsement (F) is required or can be obtained after hire. Benefits are offered and equal opportunity employment.

• Must perform duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
• Proficient with common software and office equipment; able to learn new systems.

JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance / Full-time

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri, Day Shift

SALARY: D.O.E.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reviews and evaluates clinical records for adherence to documentation standards.
• Compiles statistical data for pre-selected specific topics for review such as unusual discharges, incident reports, or other factors.
• Provides statistical and quality of care reports as determined by company policy and payer sources.
• At times of census flux, may assist in other departments throughout the company.
• Reports when trends are found that indicate the need for training or retraining and assists in training company staff.
• Attends scheduled team meetings and training sessions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hired
• Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
• Up to date computer skills and learn new software such as TIER EHR (electronic health record) system, Excel, Office 365 and email.
• Ability to use phone, fax and other office related equipment
• Pass Background Check and Drug Screen required
• Keeps a current CPR and First Aid certifications, required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Higher Learning Degree preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or GED
