Job summary

A maintenance service company in Nashville is seeking a reliable Maintenance worker. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical repairs, and general maintenance tasks in various weather conditions. SCHEDULE

Monday thru Friday; 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; OT and Travel required

Maintenance Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Applicants must have real world experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, and demo
• Build, repair, paint, replace broken items and parts, clean, mow lawns, and all other functions associated with the general maintenance of housing, grounds, and/or vehicles
• Must be available for on call nights and weekends for emergencies. Applicants will be required to work in all weather conditions including extreme weather conditions
• Applicants will need to follow instructions, have common sense when making decisions, and some heavy lifting will be required
• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• If extra hours are needed to complete work, must be flexible and still be pleasant to residents in our housing
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception

Maintenance Qualifications

• Pass Background Check and Drug Screen required
• Keeps a current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Valid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hired

Maintenance Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year or more of related experience or training is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
