Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA activities at a GMP-regulated facility in Gardena, CA. You will supervise the QA team, ensure product release with proper batch records, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of GMP QA experience; supervision experience is preferred, with knowledge of CAPA and deviations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific/technical field required
• 3+ years of QA in GMP manufacturing
• Experience in regulated industries preferred
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems
• Experience with deviations, CAPA, change control, document control
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with incoming inspection and material disposition
• Proficiency with MS Office
• ERP/MRP experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team
• Oversee incoming material inspection, sampling, approval, quarantine, and disposition
• Provide daily QA oversight of production and GMP compliance
• Review and approve batch/production records for finished product release
• Lead investigations involving deviations and root-cause analysis
• Manage CAPA, change control, SOPs, specifications, and document control
• Monitor quality metrics, trends, and CAPA status
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections
• Oversee supplier quality and nonconforming materials
• Ensure calibration, validation, environmental monitoring, and sanitation programs are compliant
• Partner with Production, QC, Regulatory, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects and rework while improving quality
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
