Quality Assurance Manager

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will evaluate current operations with a keen eye, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and quality. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams including testing and engineering to ensure that quality standards are met throughout all phases of production. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace manufacturing is required for serious consideration. This is not a hybrid or remote position based on the nature of the work. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with AS9100 standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
• Conduct detailed inspections of finished goods to verify conformance to internal and external standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant QA experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality assurance methodologies.
• Proven experience in QA/QC processes and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with inspection and testing methodologies.
