We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all aspects of quality control for our perfume company. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in fragrance evaluation, packaging assessment, and regulatory knowledge to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance. The Quality Assurance Manager will approve fragrance samples, monitor production processes, and ensure the quality of packaging and finished goods.

Responsibilities

1. Fragrance Evaluation and Approval:

• Assess and approve fragrance samples to ensure consistency with established benchmarks.
• Collaborate with perfumers, fragrance houses, and suppliers to maintain high-quality standards in raw materials.
• Conduct sensory evaluations to ensure product quality and adherence to brand specifications.

Production and Finished Goods Quality:

• Oversee all production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and policies.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure proper adherence to product specifications, including fragrance strength, color, and packaging integrity.
• Address and resolve quality issues promptly to minimize production downtime.

Packaging Quality:

• Monitor the quality of packaging materials, ensuring durability, functionality, and compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with design and supply chain teams to resolve packaging challenges.

Regulatory Documentation and Compliance:

• Ensure products meet local and international regulatory standards (e.g., IFRA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA).
• Maintain and update regulatory documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS) and certificates of analysis.
• Stay informed about industry regulation changes and implement necessary updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance, preferably in fragrance or beauty industries.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance evaluation and benchmarking.
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance for cosmetics or perfume industry.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and functions.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
