Job summary

Bell’s and New Belgium are seeking a Site QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance team at the site level, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across production and packaging processes.

You will drive data‑driven decisions, containment, investigations, and corrective actions while aligning with enterprise QA standards and site performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of on-the-job experience.
• Postgraduate degree desirable for advanced roles.
• Expert working knowledge in analytical chemistry, microbiology, sensory, material quality or quality systems.
• Respected expert in their field with proven process improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Quality Assurance Scientists and Technicians.
• Offer technical guidance on product quality decisions and disposition actions.
• Develop and implement advanced methods, SOPs, training, and tools for quality control.
• Apply DoE and other advanced methods to solve complex quality issues.
• Mentor peers, customers, suppliers and industry professionals in technical areas.
• Lead major projects and focused improvement efforts for site quality.
• Set strategic direction and short-term plans for the Quality department.
• Participate in industry collaborations to validate test methods.

Job description

The Site QA Manager is the site-level leader responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance of products manufactured and packaged at the site. This position provides leadership to the site Quality Assurance team and partners closely with Brewing, Packaging, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Food Safety to ensure quality is built into every stage of the process.
The Site QA Manager is a key decision maker, providing timely, data-driven decisions when quality or production anomalies occur. The role is responsible for appropriate containment, investigation, escalation, disposition, and corrective action while protecting the consumer and the business.
This position also serves as a critical link between site operations and the enterprise QA organization, implementing enterprise quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve site performance, capability, and quality culture.

Essential Duties

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Quality Assurance Scientists and/or Technicians.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership on decisions concerning product quality, corrective actions, and product disposition.
• Develop and implements innovative, advanced methods for assigned areas including all supporting mechanisms (e.g., SOPs, training documentation/aids, tools, equipment, logs, databases, control charts, etc.).
• Apply advanced methods (e.g., Design of Experiments) and/or specialized skills and knowledge to solve complex problems and/or make improvements to products and processes.
• Mentor and trains others including NBB employees, customers, suppliers and/or industry professionals in area(s) of technical expertise.
• Lead major project and/or focused improvement efforts.
• Provides longer-term strategic direction and shorter-term detailed plans for Quality department.
• Participate in industry collaborative and external comparisons to validate NBB test methods.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent training and related work experience with a minimum of eight (8) years of on-the-job experience.
• Post graduate degree desirable.
• Expert working knowledge of disciplines related to assignment (e.g., Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory, Material Quality and/or Quality Systems).
• Well respected and recognized by peers in the industry as an expert in their field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, deploy and improve assigned processes to industry leading or one of the best in the industry.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $80,000 - $102,500
