Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet specifications from initial production through delivery readiness.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of quality control/assurance experience in manufacturing, familiarity with quality management systems, inspection procedures, and process improvement initiatives;

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of quality control/quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality management systems and inspection procedures.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives and manufacturing quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and direct Quality Control personnel.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Review and verify the accuracy of production documentation and records.
• Manage inspection activities and maintain quality documentation.
• Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of products during and after manufacturing.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure products meet specifications and are ready for delivery.
• Perform product testing and road-readiness evaluations as applicable.
• Inspect and evaluate purchased materials and components from vendors.
• Accept, reject, or recommend corrective action for products that do not meet quality standards.
• Identify defects, abnormalities, and non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
