Job summary

Element2 Group is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality operations within a manufacturing facility at our Hartford, CT location. This role drives the quality management system, ensures customer requirements are met, and leads continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5-7+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; AS9100 preferred.
• Experience leading internal, supplier, and certification audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality operations and ensure compliance with customer, industry, and internal quality requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Serve as the quality management representative for ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
• Manage document control processes, including reviewing, updating, and maintaining quality documentation.
• Coordinate employee training related to quality procedures and process changes.
• Support production teams with quality guidance and process improvement initiatives.
• Identify manufacturing risks and implement corrective actions to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage internal audits, customer audits, certification audits, and corrective action responses.
• Perform root cause analysis and oversee CAPA processes.
• Manage nonconforming material through MRB process.
• Review quality data, identify trends, and implement improvements based on findings.
• Support supplier quality initiatives and ensure incoming materials meet requirements.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality issues and complaints.
