Job summary

TW Metals, LLC is seeking a quality assurance professional to develop, implement, and coordinate a product assurance program across new and existing products. The role involves inspecting products, reviewing supplier records, and verifying conformance to contract specs and quality controls.

Candidates should have an undergraduate degree or five years’ experience, strong communication, proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint and the Metalware mainframe, and the ability to map processes and work

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or five years’ experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management and customers.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to use common PC programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and mainframe Metalware.
• Ability to perform basic math and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and coordinates product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties.
• Inspects products to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Examines supplier records to verify size, weight and test results.
• Inspects product for conformance to orders and quality controls; documents findings.
• Reviews technical problems and proposes procedural changes.
• Process mapping to identify efficiencies in procedures.
• Visits vendors to obtain information on supplier quality and capabilities.
