Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Quality Control Lead to support multiple programs in the Non-Kinetics Business Area in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining QA/QC systems to prevent defects from design through delivery.

The candidate will lead investigations, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with program teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met. 8–12 years of manufacturing/defense experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/defense environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Planning and Documenting the Receipt & Shipping Inspections, document & control non-conformities.
• Review shipping requirements for accuracy, completeness, authorization, destination, handling requirements.
• Lead development and implementation of streamlined QMS processes aligned to program execution risk, schedule, and priority.
