Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality control policies and procedures.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure panels and equipment meet the customer’s bill of materials and quality standards.
• Document deficiencies and errors and confirm corrections.
• Strive to keep quality control hours within company standards.
• Train employees for multiple departments and empower them to present ideas to improve the company’s quality commitments.
• Contribute and implement ideas to correct mistakes and variations.
• Emphasize and enforce safety procedures.
• Relocate quality control resources daily to ensure all departments have adequate coverage to maintain productivity.
• Recommend and implement disciplinary actions.
• Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.
• Lead the work assignment of Quality Control Inspectors.
• Meets department strategic and tactical goals and helps manage all key department metrics.
• Grows team capability through training, and development.
• Focus on "best in industry" results and continual improvement.
• Ongoing assessment and improvement of department tools, software and equipment.
