Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. is seeking a senior quality/control engineer to plan, direct, and implement project quality management on large industrial and heavy civil construction programs.

Responsibilities include reviewing technical submittals, developing means and methods for self-performed concrete and heavy civil work, and coordinating with engineers of record and government representatives to resolve issues. site-based role, 70% office, 30% field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of related experience in quality control on heavy civil/industrial projects.
• Federal construction experience with NAVFAC, USACE, DOE, GSA or similar preferred.
• Design-build project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project quality management and technical engineering support on large industrial and heavy civil projects.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, calculations, and work plans for conformance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and government representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Perform audits and implement corrective actions per the quality control program.
