Job summary

Moore Industries in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead site QA/QC programs for industrial or government projects in line with USACE/NAVFAC or ISO 9000 standards. This mid-management role focuses on developing and implementing a site QA/QC plan and coordinating with clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance and quality results.

Travel across the Louisiana-Texas Gulf Coast region is required; US citizens only may apply for certain federal sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of documented QA/QC experience in industrial/government settings.
• Experience developing and implementing a QA program is required.
• ISO-9000 or USACE/NAVFAC QA systems experience preferred.
• Industrial, government or commercial project experience welcomed.
• Travel to Gulf Coast regions required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in evaluating subcontractors to verify QA/QC capabilities.
• Prepare, submit for approval, manage, and implement the site-specific QA/QC Plan.
• Be the primary client contact on QA/QC matters; attend QC meetings as needed.
• Create ITPs and Audit Plans for each DFOW.
• Organize preparatory meetings ensuring all parties understand requirements and documentation.
• Audit documentation and procedures; maintain audits, findings and corrective actions.
