Job summary

Moore Industries is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC on site, ensuring compliance with USACE/NAVFAC or ISO 9000 series quality systems. You will develop and implement a site-specific QA/QC plan and manage inspections, audits, and NCRs across the project team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and Moore crews to ensure quality and schedule, creating ITPs and audit plans, and leading preparatory meetings for each Definable Feature of Work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of documented experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance position.
• Experience Developing and Implementing a QA program is required.
• Experience in ISO-9000 series Quality Management Systems or USACE/NAVFAC Quality Management System is preferred.
• Industrial experience is preferred, but government or commercial environments will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in evaluating subcontractors to verify QA/QC capabilities.
• Prepare, submit for approval, manage, and implement the site-specific QA/QC Plan.
• Be the primary client contact on QA/QC issues; attend site QC meetings as needed.
• Create Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP) and Audit Plans for each DFOW.
• Organize Preparatory Meetings for each DFOW and distribute minutes.
• Participate in testing, inspection and documentation per ITPs.
• Audit subcontractor and Moore documentation and procedures; maintain audit records.
• Coordinate testing/inspection with Client, Construction Manager, Superintendent, Owner, A/E, and others to align inspections.
