Job summary

Moore-Industries in Wadley, GA seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead site QA/QC efforts for projects with USACE/NAVFAC or ISO 9000 quality systems. This mid-management role requires hands-on experience building and implementing a site-specific QA/QC plan.

You will evaluate subcontractors, develop ITPs and audit plans, manage NCRs, conduct audits, and coordinate with clients and project teams to ensure compliance and on-time turnover. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Have 5 years or more of documented experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance position.
• Experience Developing and Implementing a QA program is required.
• Experience in ISO-9000 series Quality Management Systems or USACE/NAVFAC preferred.
• Industrial or government/commercial experience considered; travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in evaluation of subcontractors to verify QA/QC capabilities.
• Prepare, submit for approval, manage, and implement the site-specific QA/QC Plan.
• Be the primary point of contact for the Client on QA/QC issues and attend meetings.
• Create Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP) and Audit Plans for each DFOW.
• Coordinate testing and inspection programs with all stakeholders to ensure inspections do not impede progress.
• Issue NCRs and manage corrective actions; conduct, document and manage punch lists.
• Produce information for Daily Reports and maintain submittal and RFI logs.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, A/E, subcontractors, and others for project turnover.
