Job summary

LiDestri Food and Drink in Rochester, NY is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee QA activities on a 12-day, 6:00am–6:30pm rotation. The role ensures product quality, supports the QA Manager, and maintains SQF standards across production.

The ideal candidate has a minimum high school diploma and 3+ years in quality, with 2+ years in supervision, strong numeracy, and hands-on QA tooling experience. Excellent benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of quality experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work with numbers, perform calculations and possess mechanical abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills with all management levels.
• Experience with QA testing and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet customer and product requirements.
• Keep all areas and equipment within SQF Standards and clean.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning throughout shift.
• Perform microbiological testing and batch checks (Brix, Salt, pH, Acid, alcohol).
• Monitor filler machines, weights, codes, labeling, and pasteurizer temps.
• Investigate holds and supplier/customer issues; create work orders as needed.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff; manage schedules and timecards.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections; ensure proper documentation.
