Job summary

LiDestri Food and Drink is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control role to monitor food safety and product quality in a Rochester, NY facility. The technician will perform inspections, run analytical tests, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining calibration of lab equipment, handling non-conforming materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Prior QC experience preferred; PPE and GMP/GLP adherence required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in GMP/GLP environment.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Ability to operate QA tools and meters.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Quality control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform product and batch inspections per GMP/GLP.
• Maintain lab areas and equipment in calibration.
• Hold non-conforming materials per procedures.
• Conduct analytical and microbiological testing as defined.
• Verify product codes and data records.
• Perform routine lab sampling and testing.
• Analyze SPC data to support decisions.
• Conduct sensory evaluation in lab when required.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance.
