Job summary

Oklo Inc. is seeking a Project Quality Specialist to support the implementation of the project Quality Assurance Program and to perform hands-on quality control across engineering, procurement, construction, and turnover activities.

This role requires translating complex requirements into practical controls and working closely with technical teams to resolve quality issues early. You will embed with project teams, perform inspections, witness tests, and manage nonconformances while ensuring

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality assurance, quality control, quality engineering, inspection, construction, or related in regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 and/or ANSI/ANS-15.8 requirements.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, procedures, procurement docs, ITPs, and QA records.
• Experience field inspections, surveillances, audits, nonconformance, corrective actions, and quality records.
• Ability to work on-site in Idaho Falls and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Support QA program implementation and perform QC activities per ASME NQA-1 and project requirements.
• Translate requirements into practical project controls, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain project QA/QC plans, inspection/test plans, checklists, and hold/witness points.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure QA/QC alignment with inputs and interfaces.
• Review procurement specs, POs, and subcontracts for appropriate quality clauses and records.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, surveillance, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Review submittals, quality plans, inspection records, and test reports for completeness and compliance.
• Provide QA oversight for EPC contractors performing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C work.
