Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks a Supervisor of Quality Assurance to lead technicians, document processes, and uphold AAON quality standards across production.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a related field, 7+ years of experience, familiarity with ASQ/ISO/Lean, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; strong leadership and MS Office skills are essential. Some travel for audits may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field; additional education advantageous for career growth.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in Quality, ASQ, ISO, Lean, SPC, and CI methodologies preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher desirable, or willingness to pursue certification.

Responsibilities

• Use CAPA findings and quality metrics to initiate CI projects, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
• Provide final approval for quality team leaders who completed required training.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, timely product completion, and design spec compliance.
• Supervise inspection and testing personnel to maintain standards and productivity.
• Coordinate audits/inspections, acting as technical resource for trainers and staff.
• Conduct meetings with internal/external suppliers and customers to review quality findings; travel as needed.
