Job summary

DCI is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager to ensure systems and installations meet customer specifications, standards, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role emphasizes early defect detection, continuous monitoring, and proactive resolution to minimize end-of-project punch list items.

The QC Manager collaborates with the Project Manager, Superintendent, site leadership, installers, and inspectors to deliver a compliant, high-quality finished product on time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant Quality Control experience in construction or industrial installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Compliance: review customer specs and drawings and ensure installations meet requirements.
• Perform daily and weekly quality audits, including pre-belt readiness inspections for conveyors.
• Maintain and consolidate a weekly punch list of QC issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Photograph and document deficiencies with precise locations and corrective actions.
• Prepare QC audit reports with evidence, locations, and descriptions of required corrections.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, LM inspectors, and project team to address quality concerns in real time.
• Assist Project Manager on-site to achieve quality objectives without affecting schedule or safety.
• Drive reduction of punch lists at project closeout and maintain accurate final QA documentation.
