Job summary

Chubbies is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to own quality systems across the full product lifecycle—from testing and factory audits to production, packing, and returns. This role partners with Sourcing, Technical Design, and testing labs to ensure every product meets brand standards.

You will lead vendor QA programs for ecommerce and wholesale, manage audits, and drive corrective actions while staying current with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience in apparel or consumer products.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with factory operations exposure.
• Strong garment testing methodologies and standards knowledge.
• Deep understanding of garment quality construction and defect categories.
• Experience with compliance standards including children's product safety testing.
• Experience with third-party testing labs (e.g., SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek).
• Experience supporting both eCommerce and retail/wholesale QA programs.

Responsibilities

• Quality reporting and factory audits with vendors and tracking adherence to AQL guidelines.
• Lead testing programs and ensure compliance across product categories and vendors.
• Conduct kids' safety testing before production to meet regulations.
• Maintain documentation and reporting to reveal quality performance to leadership.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Technical Design, and labs to define testing scopes and plans.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement within the vendor network.
