Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The role leads enterprise QA efforts across Agile development, DevSecOps, and IT service delivery in a federal environment.

You will collaborate with Development, Security, Operations, PMs, and Product Owners to set quality standards, oversee testing, and drive continuous improvement of SDLC processes while ensuring compliance with federal and organizational standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/ENG.
7+ years leading QA in Agile environments.
Experience with QA tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, CAST, Azure DevOps, Jira.
Knowledge of NIST and OWASP standards.

Responsibilities

Lead QA activities across Agile software development projects.
Establish and maintain SDLC quality standards.
Ensure compliance with NIST, OWASP, and Section 508.
Develop QA strategies for automated and manual testing.
Oversee test planning, IV&V, and UAT.
Partner with Agile teams to integrate quality into sprint planning and DevSecOps pipelines.
Define and monitor automated quality gates using tools like SonarQube, Fortify, CAST, or similar platforms.
Develop dashboards and report quality metrics, including defect trends and release readiness.
Present quality metrics and recommendations to leadership and Government stakeholders.
Maintain QA policies, standards, and supporting documentation.
Deliver training on QA processes and testing methodologies.
Drive continuous process improvement.
