Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a large lab expansion in Germantown, MD. This is a pivotal role supporting data integrity, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will bring advanced lab experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain compliance with GMP/GLP standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data reporting and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a relevant technology field.
• 3+ years of laboratory experience with hands on lab equipment and safe practices.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verify data compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor, supply, inventory, and initiate reorders as needed.
• Document, investigate, and resolve nonconformance issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to communicate findings.
• Identify and troubleshoot abnormal inspection results or equipment issues.
