Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Laboratory Technician to support a large lab expansion in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. You will verify data against specifications, monitor inventory, and document nonconformance issues to ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in a science field, 3+ years of laboratory experience, and hands-on experience with lab equipment and safe chemical handling. DOE/Q clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant science field and 3+ years of laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and safe chemical handling.
• Strong understanding of lab reporting and data integrity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verify that data is compliant with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor, supply, inventory, and initiate reorders as needed.
• Document, investigate, and help resolve nonconformance issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to communicate findings.
• Identify and troubleshoot abnormal inspection results or equipment inconsistencies.

Education

Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a relevant technology field
