Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support a large lab expansion in Germantown, Maryland. This role offers exposure to a growing program and the chance to contribute to groundbreaking work.

The position requires 3+ years of laboratory experience, an Associate degree in a science field, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a relevant technology field.
• 3+ years of laboratory experience.
• Hands on experience with lab equipment, chemical handling, & safe lab practices.
• Strong Understanding of Lab reporting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verify data is compliant with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor, supply, inventory, and initiate reorders as needed.
• Document, investigate, and help resolve nonconformance issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to communicate findings.
• Identify and troubleshoot abnormal inspection results or equipment inconsistencies.
