Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking an associate to verify work orders, confirm lens and coating quality, and move completed products from the AR facility. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to Visionworks standards, with a focus on accurate sorting, labeling, and documentation.

The position supports a production line environment with physical demands and safety guidelines. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to read English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tray processing flow as dictated by tray color or priority sticker.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to ensure lenses meet Visionworks Standards.
• Identify and mark factory markings for progressive lens types.
• Verify lens is in the correct tray.
• Sort trays for AR Shipping, AR Bench, SL Returns, and Defectives/Breakage.
• Ensure Cut jobs are transferred to AR to Bench.
• Verify coating applications (AR, Mirror, Incognito) before scanning for shipping status.
• Set up Innovation system so jobs scan to correct status.
• Confirm AR Inspector initials on work orders.
• Wrap shipping jobs with documentation and sort into shipping bin.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstations.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) and safety requirements.
