Job summary

LCI is seeking a QA Inspector to perform quality material receiving, in-process, and end-item inspections at defined points. Location: Hazlehurst, MS. Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:15pm to 11:45pm. Responsibilities include sampling, testing, data entry, and procedure documentation to support quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with calipers, micrometers, and other test equipment. Strong data analysis and clear communication are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and ability to keep accurate records.
• Knowledge and experience with measurement tools and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts.
• Ability to analyze data to detect trends.
• Effective communication with management and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Obtains random samples from incoming materials and evaluates conformance to specifications.
• Performs routine checks, gauging and instrument inspections of materials and finished goods.
• Assist in writing procedures and inspection forms for area of expertise.
• Obtain random samples from outgoing pallets and verify with instruments against standards.
• Collects data to ensure processes meet tolerance levels.
• Conducts testing procedures as per customer specifications.
• Enters data into usable programs for management review.
