Lennox in Stone Mountain, GA is hiring a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final quality checks on units and to record defect data. Under supervision, you will participate in audits and support continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a high school diploma, clear communication skills, and ability to read drawings. MS Office proficiency and willingness to work weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication required.
• Ability to read assembly/part drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on multiple projects within the same day.
• Willingness to learn and use new software.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product assembly at various stages and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Measure items for dimensional accuracy and perform functional checks as required.
• Record observations in defect database and suggest process improvements.
• Approve or reject items and document disposition information.
• Perform routine product and process audits with prescribed checklists.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and train operators on Critical to Quality characteristics.
• Communicate issues effectively to cross-functional teams via email/phone/presentations.
