Job summary

Qualifications

• Two year certificate in a scientific discipline required.
• Candidates with a High School diploma or GED and 2-3 years QA experience will be considered.
• Must read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and blueprints.
• Proficient with a wide variety of measuring equipment including calipers, CMM, micrometer, height gauge, gages, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Confers with operators, supervisors or engineering to determine and enforce quality standards.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections/testing of components and finished goods.
• Generates Material Review Reports for QA issues and communicates findings to management.
• Maintains data tracking on part history, defect rates and process control.
• Ensures compliance with Visual and Dimensional Standards, BOMs and QA policies.
