Job summary

Co-Operative Industries Defense LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I to maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, and recording quality results.

The role requires interpreting drawings and schematics, performing visual and measurement tests, and documenting inspection data. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of QA experience, with knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace wiring harnesses is preferred
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with calibration systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand drawings and schematics.
• Approve in-process production by conducting visual and measurement tests and confirming results follow specifications.
• Approve finished products by conducting visual and measurement tests and confirming results follow specifications.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Summarize re-work and waste, input data into quality database.
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and performing repairs.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with regulations.
• Write non-conformance reports (NCR) on rejected product and communicate the NCR to the proper departments.
• Use high voltage test equipment to test the product.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities.
