Job summary

Blistex Inc. in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector I to support QA receipt and production inspections. You will sample and inspect incoming packaging and raw materials, ensure batch readiness, and issue batch records while monitoring production quality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years QA experience preferred; you must read specs and use scales/calipers. This hourly, non-exempt position offers a daytime schedule 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and a discretionary bonus

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance environment preferred, cosmetics/pharmaceutical OTC industry ideal.
• Computer literacy and ability to read and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each receipt for conformance to purchase orders.
• Verify integrity and labeling of shipping containers.
• Sample items using statistical sampling plans.
• Inspect items with measurement tools and document results.
• Maintain files for receipt inspections and vendor performance.
