H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Fisher, IL for the 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM). The role focuses on ensuring quality programs and products meet customer standards, reducing defects, and improving overall quality.

Responsibilities include detailed inspections, reading blueprints, GD&T, and using CMM, Romer, and optical comparators. Requires 2+ years QA experience and a HS diploma, with welding experience/certs preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience in a Quality Assurance position.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator (preferred).
• Welding certification(s) (preferred).
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic shop drawings.
• Basic understanding of measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges).
• Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
• Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection required.
• May involve repetitive tasks and physical activity throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality inspections of products and their components at different stages of production.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings including GD&T and verify conformance with customer requirements.
• Measure parts with CMM, Romer, and Optical Comparator and document results.
• Report non-conforming parts to QA Manager and Supervisors and assist in corrective actions.
• Maintain and edit reports using MS Office applications.
