Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure quality is built into our bottles and packaging. You will monitor product quality, inspect bottles and boxes, and record data while adhering to GMP, HACCP, and safety guidelines.

The role requires teamwork, overtime flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment at the Peosta facility. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multi-task and follow department procedures.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Ability to monitor machine output and identify defects.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Production environment awareness of alarms and sounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow Amcor safety and environmental policies and OSHA rules.
• Monitor quality of product; inspect bottles for defects and boxes for damage.
• Communicate with team to achieve department goals.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Maintain cGMP, SQF, HACCP and quality compliance.
• Assist with training new QA personnel.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report violations.
• Respond to emergencies and direct others when needed.
• Follow department procedures and directives.
