Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and help improve the manufacturing process by eliminating waste and change.

You will perform in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling, coordinate improvement activities with Manufacturing Engineering, and assist auditors as required. You’ll keep management informed of progress and obstacles while upholding safety and plant policies.

Qualifications

• QA auditing experience is required.
• Passing the HPS QA Test is required.
• SAP systems experience is preferred and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performing in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
• Coordinating process improvement activities with work orders and Mfg. Engineering as required.
• Assisting or coordinating auditor efforts in other areas as required.
• Keeping management apprised of progress and obstacles that affect objectives.
• Understanding plant policies and environment regarding safety, equipment operation, and materials.
• Understanding and monitoring QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans.
