Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Lincoln, NH is seeking a Quality Inspector to support daily operations, ensuring quality standards and improving the manufacturing process through QA and process control. You will perform in-process and final inspections, utilize statistical sampling, and maintain detailed quality records to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Prior Quality Assurance auditing experience required.
• Record of passing HPS QA Test required.
• Experience with SAP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
• Coordinate process improvement activities with work orders, drawing changes with Mfg. Engineering and Operations as required.
• Assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required.
• Keep management apprised of progress and obstacles that constrain attainment of company objectives.
• Understand plant policies and environment pertaining to safety, equipment operation and materials.
• Understand and monitor QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans.
• Use and apply statistical sampling plans as directed.
• Maintain detailed records such as quality control charts, logs, sheets, proof sampling, reject forms, reports, statistical sampling, process capability, charts.
• Know generally company standards, catalogues and applications for performance to inspection.
• Perform in-process and sampling inspection of parts and assemblies produced from all forms of processing operations.
• Use inspection equipment to obtain measurements including calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges, comparators.
• Make dimensional inspection decisions on tolerance deviations.
• Must read prints and drawings and apply them.
• Performs other related duties as required.
