Job summary

Cavco Moultrie in Moultrie, GA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support design and production teams in building high quality homes and components in compliance with HUD and regulatory standards.

You will inspect materials, in-process production, and finished products, document results, and collaborate with supervisors to implement corrective actions while maintaining safety and a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Physically capable to lift 40+ pounds and work overhead.
• High school diploma with experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics and strong problem solving.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Work safely following all safety policies and maintain a healthy work environment.
• Identify safety issues and communicate concerns to supervisor.
• Follow work orders to inspect building components per specs and HUD/regulatory requirements.
• Inspect materials, in-process production, and finished products for specs and defects; document rejections.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line staff to discuss inspection results and corrective actions.
• Document inspection results via reports and checklists; communicate violations to supervisors and QC Manager.
• Maintain good attendance and coordinate with supervisors on schedule.
• Keep inspection equipment and tools calibrated and in good condition; request repairs when needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform other duties as assigned.
