General Information:

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting finished products in compliance with customer and regulatory standards, SOPs, WIs, and GMPs.

What are we looking for?

• High school diploma/GED with proficiency in math and reading comprehension.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related role.
• SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral, along with interpersonal and organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete start-up paperwork, including creating shippers and lab labels for filling and packaging.
• Review customer Fill & Assembly documents to ensure packaging specifications are met.
• Perform quality checks at specified frequencies, holding products that do not meet standards for further review.
• Record and process quality information in accordance with SOPs and WIs.
• Perform and approve Line Clearances for batch and fragrance changes.
• Verify Line Start-Up requirements are completed before operations begin.
• Obtain samples as per SOPs, including First Production, Replenishment, and Mast Replenishment samples.
• Communicate quality observations to QA Lead and Line Lead.
• Maintain a clean, contaminant-free work area, adhering to quality, FDA, and GMP standards.
• Follow safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
