Kdc/one is currently hiring at our Columbus, Ohio facility. As part of the kdc/one network, we are the leading best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products! Our Columbus facility is accessible with an easy commute located on RT. 161/Beech Rd. in New Albany.

General Information:

This position leads company Quality Assurance inspection activities and ensures overall compliance with customer requirements, standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI) and regulatory standards.

What are we looking for?

• High school diploma/GED equivalent with proficiency in math and reading comprehension.
• Two plus years experience in quality discipline; preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong English communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

This position is responsible for:

• Makes recommendations when evaluating product defects found during the inspection process.
• Keeps Quality Manager informed of significant problems that arise.
• Conducts investigation of failures, incidents and deviations to assure that root causes are identified and appropriate corrective action and preventative actions are taken and/or implemented.
• Interacts with necessary individuals in coordinating production scheduling and related activities.
• Assists with new product start-ups and process transfers.
• Assures that staff receives necessary training, including that for operations, cGMPs, safety and protecting the environment.
• Performs quality checks on an ongoing basis for proper appearance, weight, torque and identifies discrepancies and initiates resolution.
• Routinely audits records and forms that are completed by line quality inspectors.
• Completes all work in a manner consistent with the company’s quality system and FDA GMP regulations.
• Assists line inspectors with daily quality line checks when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
