What you can expect as a Quality Assurance Inspector at West Star:

This position oversees all assigned production work scopes to ensure compliance with the West Star Repair Station Manual and Federal Aviation Regulations. Responsibilities include collaborating with Program Managers, Team Leaders, and Quality Control Inspectors, performing work order surveillance, creating maintenance log entries, completing FAA approval and return-to-service paperwork, and assisting Engineering with alterations and repairs.

Your duties will vary daily and include:

• Performing work order surveillance to verify condition at all times.
• Creating maintenance log entries meeting return-to-service requirements.
• Analyzing data for FAA form 337’s for Major Repairs and Alterations.
• Analyzing data for Weight and Balance Reports.
• Coordinating work scopes with team members daily.
• Gathering and organizing documentation for delivery and work orders.
• Updating FAA forms and records to ensure expedient return to service.
• Performing internal audits as required.
• Maintaining daily contact with the Team Leader to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Maintaining customer-oriented work habits.
• Communicating effectively in English.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
