Job summary

HYDAC TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for 1st shift at our Denver location. The role involves performing incoming inspections, documenting quality metrics, and ensuring conformance to specifications.

Training on HYDAC quality policies will be provided as part of onboarding. The ideal candidate will read mechanical drawings, operate standard inspection tools, and work well both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 months related experience in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and determine conformance to specifications.
  • Experience with basic measurement tools and inspection equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality policies and documentation practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspection of selected purchased goods and fabricated products.
  • Process quality related documentation including certifications.
  • Follow QSP-0002 to process non-conforming material.
  • Audit and inspect stock (raw material and finished goods) as directed.
  • Use inspection equipment (pin gages, ring gages, thread gages, calipers, micrometers) for metrology.
  • Compile certification documents for finished goods.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.

At our Denver, North Carolina facility, we are seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Inspector for (1st Shift) Monday - Friday, (6am – 2:30pm). In exchange for your hard work, you will be compensated with a competitive wage and excellent benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • LEVEL C:
  • Performs incoming inspection of selected purchased goods and fabricated products.
  • Process quality related documentation including certifications.
  • Follows QSP-0002 to process non-conforming material.
  • Performs audits and inspection of stock (raw material and finished goods) as directed.
  • Uses inspection equipment such as pin gages, ring gages, thread gages, calipers, micrometers, etc.to accomplish metrology of product features.
  • Completes inspection dimensional reports.
  • Compile certification documents for finished goods.
  • Functions well independently and within a team environment

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to use database software, manufacturing software and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Knowledge and use of standard test and measurement tools and equipment including hand tools.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months related experience in an industrial environment.

Safety and Personal Protective Equipment
  • Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
  • Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
