Job summary

Fortive is seeking a QA Developer in Brazil to shape testing strategy, boost engineering quality, and strengthen CI/CD pipelines. You’ll design automation frameworks, build modular automation tools, and drive testability improvements across the stack.

Responsibilities include leading automation efforts, mentoring QA peers, and monitoring quality health metrics while evaluating workflows and tools to improve efficiency and product reliability.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software development with QA in CI/CD environments.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks for distributed teams.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium; proficient in C# or Java.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.

What You Bring?

Must-Have:

• 8–10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Quality Assurance in CI/CD environments.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks for distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., C#, Java) and ability to write deterministic automation scenarios.
• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Deployment practices.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with C#, MSSQL, .NET Framework.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience). A Master’s degree is a plus.
