Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to rigorously test software within an agile team. You will develop test plans based on requirements and functional specifications, and document results to drive improvements.

Role includes manual, automated, usability, and UAT testing, plus mentoring others and estimating testing efforts to enhance overall quality of the system before release.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance testing.
• Experience with manual, automation, and performance testing of applications on platforms like Power Pages, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
• Experience with test case planning and building a regression test case set.
• Experience with integration testing, regression testing, and supporting UAT and EUT.
• Experience with Jira, Jira Xray, and GitHub for agile project management.
• Experience with test automation and programming languages such as Gherkin, C#, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of REST API testing and tools like Postman.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a test plan based on requirements and specifications.
• Evaluate features of a customer engagement and collaboration system within an agile team.
• Document results and communicate defects to the development team for fixes.
• Expand testing types to include manual, automated, usability, and UAT; mentor others and estimate testing efforts.
