Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive conformance to customer specs and industry standards across telecom shelters, ESS enclosures, and Data Center PODs. You will develop and improve QA systems, oversee QC inspectors, and ensure rigorous process controls and audits.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, including FMEA, CAPA, and 8D problem-solving to sustain high product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Developing and applying core quality planning tools such as FMEA, control plans, and robust procedures.
• Implementing quality standards for telecom infra, ESS enclosures, and data center modules.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100/TL 9000 quality systems.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings, BOMs, and specs for compliance.
• Leading RCAs, preventative actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to train and mentor shop floor staff and quality inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality standards tailored for telecom infrastructure and modular data centers.
• Supervise and coach QC Inspectors to ensure adherence to inspection plans and criteria.
• Develop and implement advanced QC processes, including FMEA, control plans, and audits.
• Review Engineering Drawings, BOMs, and specs for completeness and compliance.
• Track FPY, COQ, and warranty data to drive improvements across manufacturing and supply chain.
• Communicate quality metrics to internal departments, vendors, and contractors.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve complex quality issues.
